Razerzone.com Review

Hello my fellow Bats,
Today I will be reviewing the Company Razer, specifically their Website Razerzone

Razer Inc. is a Singaporean-founded gaming company founded in San Diego by Min-Lian Tan and Robert Krakoff, with dual-headquarters in Singapore and San Francisco, and listed in Honk Kong since November 2017.

Originally I thought that Razer is a US only company and wasn't aware of the Singaporean part neither was I aware that they are now also have a place in Honk Kong since November 2017.

If you are a gamer you probably have heard of the company Razer before or even own some of their Gear already. Such as Keyboards, Mouse-pads, Mouse, Headphones and maybe even their newly released phone.

Personally I am owning the Razer Kraken Pro Headphones in Neon Red and am very pleased with them. In the past I have owned other gear as well such as the Razer BlackWidow Keyboard, however it wasn't as durable as their newer gear, which then landed quickly in the trash.

Since I have owned razer products before, especially some of the newer ones. I thought why not order one of their mouse from the actual websites, since my local store was sold out on that one specific product.

Ordering a Mouse for 70€ was rather simple even without having a Razer Account, thanks to paypal it worked like a charm. From my side it was paid within minutes and you would think that the product should be send out the same day.

A few days later I discovered a cheaper mouse which I was already familiar with from Logitech and decided to buy this one locally instead. Since the Razer order still hasn't been shipped out yet, I thought why not just cancel the order instead.

Once I contacted the razer support asking if it would be okay to cancel my order and give me a full refund they simply replied in the live chat that it would be no problem. Looking at the balance of my paypal account however I had received nothing.

After giving it a couple of days I decided to contact the Costumer Support again, this time via Email which generally seems to take up to a day for them to respond. I now got informed that I will get an email as soon as my order either had been shipped out or canceled.

Now I do not know how other companies generally are doing this, but when I usually order things online from Amazon, they are not only sending items out rather quickly they also generally are very quick in canceling and giving refunds.

After waiting a whole week I still havent received an email, whether my order had been canceled or shipped out. So once again I decided to contact the costumer support via email asking them this time how long it would possibly take to cancel an order.

The Answer I recieved was the following:
I can assure you I did not have a great day and considering that they knew what item I had ordered and which Country it should get delivered to, you would think they present you with an answer.

I did decide to give them another Week before contacting them again. After 1 Week was over, we are now in Week 2, I had no item or Money received. So I contacted them again during the week via email. I told them that it has been 2 Weeks and I have not received anything. Giving them 2 Days to answer they now officially had ignored me.

I could off given up there but 70€ after all is quite a-lot of money so I decided to contact the Razer Support on Twitter and make a Reddit Post on Razers official Reddit. To my surprise it didn't take very long for a official support member to respond to me which I then started messaging simultaneously to the twitter support.

Funnily enough both Support Agents gave me different answers to the same question.

If my order hasn't been send out yet why can't you cancel it?
Twitter: I am very sorry about what happened I will bump up your case so its being looked at quicker.
Reddit: I checked the case and it doesn't seem to be canceled, I will look into it.

I was basically left with these messages for a week before I finally decided to contact Paypal about this matter, as we are now in week 3 with no item or money, which is illegal if I remember correctly in Germany. You either have to have the item or the money and we had neither.

After opening a case with Paypal and telling all 3 Supports, Email, Twitter & Reddit that I would give them till Friday of Week 3 without item or money, before I would forcefully pull my money back. I also made them aware of the fact that it is not legal to leave me empty handed in Germany.

Seeing as they probably had paniced I received the next day an email that my parcel already had been shipped out a week ago but nobody had told me anything. You can surely imagine my rage towards the Razer Support via Email, Twitter and Reddit.

As they had provided me with a Tracking Number, it was for a matter of fact the case that my package had not been shipped out a week ago but the day when I told them that I will pull my money forcefully back. So not only did they lie to me, they also only seem to work when you threaten them.

1 Week later the Package has arrived, after this whole drama with Razer, my fiance had decided that it probably just would be best if we sell the mouse our-selfs via Ebay and don't fuzz around some more, which I gladly agreed on.

Personally I am very disappointed with Razer, a company that is so big and makes such good quality gear, has such bad support and handles ordering from them directly so poorly.

Would I order from them again? No, definitely not. I do order Razer Product agains, however not directly from Razer.

Would I recommend it to anyone? I recommend anyone to stay away from their direct website.

Razer.com is not Vampire Approved, due to poor service. Razer Products however are Vampire Approved but please just get them from somewhere else.

Glitter Force (Smile PreCure!) Netflix Exclusive - TV Show Review

Hello my fellow Bats,
Today I will be reviewing an Anime TV Show which is exclusively available on Netflix. It is called Glitter Force.

Glitter Force, originally called Smile Pretty Cure!, is an Anime Styled TV Show which has been created by Izumi Todo & Shoji Yonemura. We accompany a tiny pixie on her mission to recruit 5 pre-teenagers to defend their Home Planet from Fairy Tale Villans. The Tv Show originally aired on the 5th of February 2012 and ended on the 27th of January 2013. The Netflix Version Aired on the 18th of December 2015 and ended on the 26th of August 2016. The TV Show comes with 2 Seasons and each Season includes 20 Episodes which are each around 20 Minutes long.

Generally I am not a massive Anime Fan, however I am a fan of children TV Shows inform of Cartoons or 3D Animations. Although when I was younger I used to watch TV Shows such as Sailor Moon, Ojamajo Doremi and Heidi, Girl of the Alps. So the Style itself is not unfamiliar.

Due to the fact that I generally do not watch Anime TV Shows this one was bound to blew me away. We are met with a similar style to Ojamajo Doremi and Sailor Moon only more colourful and vibrant. The Colours are absolutely beautiful, the voice acting was very well made and the story was amazingly told.

I believe this TV-Show was mainly aimed at a younger audience due to its simple plot and rather simple scheme. Bad Guys are coming lets fight them and save the world. I personally am not bothered by this and enjoyed it a-lot more then I would like to admit.

Similar to My Little Pony these 5 Girls learn in each and every episode something new about Friendship and themselves, which is not only super cute but also something I would let my child watch, if I had one.

As for the Characters, they rather different from each other. There is one super Happy one, that likes to read fairy tales and dream, one that likes to study and be good in many things, one sporty one that likes to cook and another sporty one that loves to look after her family and is team player and lastly a shy creative one. So no matter who is watching there will always be one character you will be able to relate to.

At the end of each episode there is a pretty animation of the 5 Girls dancing to Pop Music which is really pretty to watch, the animation is not very amazing but also not bad. I personally did enjoy it a-lot and am still listening to some of the Music as it is really good.

I have seen alot of negative stuff about the Glitter Force, especially after it has been aired on Netflix and please let me tell you that not everybody likes to watch Animes in Japanese with English Subtitle, this would be especially a pain for children that cannot read properly yet.

Personally I loved Glitter Force and am sad that it is over as it brought so many memories back on Anime Styled TV-Shows I watched when I was younger. I also wouldn't off liked to watch it in Japanese with Subtitles, as I would like to watch what is going on and not read it.

I can recommend this TV Show to any Child or Adult which is still a Child at heart, the animation is well made, the characters are lovely and the story is greatly told.

This Anime is Vampire Approved due to its Positivity, vibrant Colours and lovely Story.

Fabulous - Angela's Fashion Fever - PC Gaming Review

Hello my fellow Bats,
Today I will be reviewing a Casual Time Management Game on the Platform Steam. It is called Fabulous - Angela's Fashion Fever.

Fabulous - Angela's Fashion Fever is a Casual Time Management Game, Developed and Published by Game House. This Game is About Emily's Sister, Angela. We accompany Angela on an Adventure across the World to become a world-famous Fashion Designer. The Game was released on the 19th of October 2016. Its native price is 12,99€ and it does provide Steam Achievements but no Trading Cards.

The Game is in the following 13 Languages available:
  • English
  • French
  • Italian
  • German
  • Spanish
  • Dutch
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Portuguese-Brazil
  • Russian
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Swedish
  • Traditional Chinese

Fabulous - Angela's Fashion Fever is not the first Game, but the second Game in the Series. I have not had the pleasure of playing the first Game, as it isn't available on PC. But I hope that it soon will be coming to PC as I enjoyed the second Game very much.

Most people know Casual Time Management Games most likely as Diner Dash Games. Diner Dash is a Casual Time Management Game available for mobile Phones and is rather successful from what I was reading. I personally know Casual Time Management Games from my Childhood, as they were very popular flash games in the Browser.

Also due to the fact that is not a Freemium Game, it is actually complete able and enjoyable. Wondering what a Freemium Game is? Feel free to click here to read about a Freemium Game Review I did.

Fabulous - Angela's Fashion Fever is a Diner Dash styled game with the story quality of a Hidden Object Game, which personally won me immediately over. The Story is very nicely told, the graphics are vibrant and beautiful

Thanks to Challenges during Gameplay and scenery Change after a certain amount of levels, this game does not get boring, regardless of the fact that in this game the challenges are repeating itself.

Due to no Voice Acting anybody in the above 13 listed Languages can play it without any Problems, old and young.

Unlike Delicious - Emily's Christmas Carol, Fabulous - Angela's Fashion Fever is not a comical Story but rather a little bit more dramatical like Heart's Medicine - Time to Heal.

Most Casual Time Management Games are rather short, however Fabulous - Angela's Fashion Fever was 9 Hours long (with most Challenges done) which is generally the normal amount of time spent on a triple A Singleplayer Game.

All in all this Game is a Gem that I recommend playing for all Casual Gamers, Time Management Fans and Fashion Fans.

This Game is Vampire approved, due to its lovely Story, great Gameplay, Multi Language Interface and beautiful Art.

Heart's Medicine - Time to Heal - PC Gaming Review

Hello my fellow Bats,
Today I will be reviewing a Casual Time Management Game on the Platform Steam. It is called Heart's Medicine - Time to Heal.

Heart's Medicine - Time to Heal is a Casual Time Management Game, Developed by Blue Giraffe and Published by Game House. We accompany Allison on becoming an aspiring surgeon at the Little Creek Hospital. The was released on the 20th of September 2016. Its native price is 12,99€ and it does provide both Steam Achievements and Trading Cards.

The Game is in the following 15 Languages available:
  • English

  • Italian
  • German
  • Spanish
  • Portuguese-Brazil
  • Dutch
  • Portuguese
  • Russian
  • Swedish
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Thai
  • Traditional Chinese
I believe Heart's Medicine - Time to heal is not the first game in the series, but I am not entirely sure. It is however the first game I played from the Series and I enjoyed it non-the-less.

Most people know Casual Time Management Games most likely as Diner Dash Games. Diner Dash is a Casual Time Management Game available for mobile Phones and is rather successful from what I was reading. I personally know Casual Time Management Games from my Childhood, as they were very popular flash games in the Browser.

Due to no Voice acting anybody in the above 15 listed Languages can play it without Problems, young and old.

The Story unlike in Delicious - Emily's Christmas Carol is not comical but rather drama orientated. It reminded me a little bit of the TV Shows Scrubs, Dr House and Grey's Anatomy.

Most Casual Time Management Games are rather short, however Delicious - Emily's Christmas Carol was 10 Hours long (with a few Challenges) which is generally the normal amount of time spent on a triple A Singleplayer Game.

All in all this Game is a Gem that I recommend playing for all Scrubs, Dr. House, Grey's Anatomy, Drama, Casual and Time Management Fans.

This Game is Vampire approved, due to its lovely Story, great Gameplay, Multi-Language Interface and beautiful Art.

Delicious - Emily's Christmas Carol - PC Gaming Review

Hello my fellow Bats,
Today I will be reviewing a Casual Time Management Game on the Platform Steam. It is called Delicious - Emily's Christmas Carol.

Delicious - Emily's Christmas Carol is a Casual Time Management Game, Developed by Blue GiraffeGame House and Published by Game House. This Game is about Emily, which owns a Restaurant. We accompany her and her family on a beautiful Christmas Adventure. The Game was released on the 4th of November 2016. Its native price is 12.99€ and it does provide Steam Achievements but no Trading Cards.

The Game is in the following 14 Languages available:
  • English

  • Italien
  • Spanish
  • German
  • Dutch
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Ruissan
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Swedish
  • Thai
  • Traditional Chinese
  • Polish

Emily's Christmas Carol is not the first Game in the Series, yet it is the only one I have completed so far, but I enjoyed it regardless.

Most people know Casual Time Management Games most likely as Diner Dash Games. Diner Dash is a Casual Time Management Game available for mobile Phones and is rather successful from what I was reading. I personally know Casual Time Management Games from my Childhood, as they were very popular flash games in the Browser.

Thanks to Challenges during Gameplay and scenery Change after a certain amount of levels, this game does not get boring.

Due to no Voice acting anybody in the above 14 listed Languages can play it without any Problems, young and old.

The Story is rather comical and funny then upsetting and grim, which makes it a perfect Treat for bad times or Holidays.

Most Casual Time Management Games are rather short, however Delicious - Emily's Christmas Carol was 10 Hours long (without Challenges) which is generally the normal amount of time spent on a triple A Singleplayer Game.

All in all this Game is a Gem that I recommend playing if you are into Short Stories, Hidden Object or Casual Games.

This Game is Vampire Approved, due to its lovely Story, great Gameplay and Multi-language Interface.

Clover Tale - PC Gaming Review

Hello my fellow Bats,
Today I will be reviewing a Free Casual Match-3 Game on the Platform Steam. It is called Clover Tale.

Clover Tale is a Free Casual Match-3 Adventure Game, Developed and Published by FIVE-BN GAMES. The Game is about Cute little Elf looking like Creatures called Nifflings. The Nifflings Valley is under attack and you have to the help them. The Game was released on the 15th of June 2016. Its native price is for free, however it does include in-game purchases.

Match-3 Games are simple way to relax and have fun, especially when waiting for something else. The Fun on Match-3 Games is, that you match gems to crate power-ups and clear more rows, quicker and quicker. The more you advance in the game, the more difficult it gets but also the more power ups you unlock.

This Game has beautiful graphics, is vibrant and does have very good animation, especially for a free Game. Since this Game is originally a Mobile Phone Game, I was quite surprised how well it was ported as I could run it without problems.

However I am afraid this is the only Positive Points I can give you. The Game itself is another Freemium Port that should be avoided on all Costs.

If you are wondering what a Freemium Game is, please let me explain:
A Freemium Game is a Video Game that requires you to pay real money for in-game / virtual goods. Meaning you cannot pass a certain level or sequence without paying real money.
This is how you can spot a Freemium Game:
  • Cute, Flashy and very good Animation which is to good to be true (for this check release date)
  • includes in app purchases
  • gets harder and harder
  • forces you to use your free power-ups for tutorial purposes
This Game is a great example for other developers how not to make a Game "Free to play".

Clover Tale does have on the top of the Screen an Energy Counter, once run out, you can either way wait 2 Minutes for 1 bit of Energy to appear or you just buy some Energy with Crystals. Have you run out of Crystals? don't worry you can get them randomly dropped for free by completing a level.

Now you may wonder. But wait a Minute? How can I complete a Level, if I don't have the energy nor do I have crystals to get the energy? Well in this Case you would have to wait 2 Minutes for 1 bit of energy and although you can retry a level, it is not guaranteed that a crystal will drop for you. This Means if you would not like to buy any Crystals for Real Money, you mainly sit there waiting rather then playing.

Personally I do enjoy good  Casual games just to relax or when I am tired. But I also do believe that those Freemium Games need to stop. This includes Games such as Candy Crush, Farm Heros, Candy Crush Jelly, Candy Crush Soda and so on.

If you are into Match-3 Casual Games with a Good Story, look for one with a Base Price and no in-game purchase option. At the end of the day you either pay your base price and know what you are getting or you spend over 100€ on one Freemium Game and might never finish it.

This Game is not Vampire Approved as its just for scamming people to pay lots and lots of money.

Midnight Mysteries: Witches of Abraham - Collector's Edition - PC Gaming Review

Hello my fellow Bats,
Today I will be reviewing a Hidden Object Game on the Platform Steam. It is called Midnight Mysteries: Witches of Abraham - Collectors Edition.

If you haven't read my Review about the first, second, third and fourth game then please click here to see the first game, here for the second, here for the third and here for the fourth game.

Midnight Mysteries: Witches of Abraham is a Casual Hidden Object Game Developed and Published by MumboJumbo. The Game is about the 16th US President Abraham Lincoln, which got Assassinated 150 years ago. The Game was released on the 24th of November 2014. The Games basic steam Store price is 13,99€. It comes with English Interface only and does not have any Steam Achievements or Steam Trading Cards.

We all know the name Abraham Lincoln well, whether you are from Europe, Asia, Russia or the USA. You have at least once heard about him, seen anything about him on tv or had it in history Class. Although I do not know everything that was involved with Abraham Lincoln, I enjoyed the Game regardless. The Setting was once again compared to other Hidden Object Games grim, gray and Gothic like, but yet it was the most colourful one in the Midnight Mysteries Series.

This Title released compared to its last counterpart 2 years later and with that is a lot better looking. Sadly compared to the second, third and fourth game, this one does not come with any Steam Achievements. Which means if you are an Achievement Hunter now is your time to be upset or be happy sit back, enjoy the story and relax.

The Resolution in this Game once again was not changeable, however it was widescreen by default which was very pleasing to the eye.

Unlike the second, third and fourth game the newly introduced crafting system within the game has been taken out, which was neither negative nor positive, it simply was something that I have noticed.

The Hidden Object Scenes, thanks to the Widescreen Resolution, were a lot easier to complete and more pleasant to play. The Puzzles unlike the fourth one were simpler and easier to solve for me. Thankfully this game does have an in-build Guide, which was also rather nicely and came in handy.

All in all this Game, being currently the last in the series, was a great addition to the series, regardless of features being taken out, it still was a lot of fun to play.

Due to the fact that this Game is only 4 Hours long, I do recommend getting it in a Bundle or on Sale.

This Game is Vampire Approved because of its Gothic Grim Atmosphere, art style and non native English user friendly interface.

Midnight Mysteries 4: Haunted Houdini - PC Game Review

Hello my fellow Bats
Today I will be reviewing a Hidden Object Game on the Platform Steam. It is called Midnight Mysteries 4: Haunted Houdini.

If you haven't read my Review about the first, second or third game then please click here to see the first game, here for the second one and here for the third game.

Midnight Mysteries 4: Haunted Houdini is a Casual Hidden Object Game Developed and Published by MumboJumbo. The Game is about the world famous illusionist Harry Houdini, which died 90 years ago. The Game was released on the 29th of March 2012. The Games native selling price on Steam is 9,99€. It comes with English Interface only and has Steam Achievements included. However no steam Trading Cards are available for this Title.

Everybody has at least once in their life heard about Harry Houdini, whether it was in Movie, in class or on the Internet. We know he was a great Illusionist / Magician that many people are still praising to this day. However I am not very familiar with Mr Houdini's Personal Life and Death. I did however enjoy the Game regardless. The Setting was once again compared to other Hidden Object Games grim, gray and Gothic like but yet still a bit more colourful and vibrant then the other 3 Titles in this Series.

The Title released on the exact same date as the second and third counterpart, but yet still looks better then the two of them. Just like the third game, it is also coming with the unmentioned Collectors Edition, meaning,  you will receive a Bonus Chapter and Unlimited Hidden Object Mode.

The Resolution of the Game can once again not be changed but is a lot higher then the previous Games. As in Number two and three you keep the newly introduced crafting system, which isn't sadly nearly as much used as it was in the third game.

The Story itself is nicely told and the animation is simple but not bad to look at. The Atmosphere was also rather good and although this game was a bit creepy it wasn't nearly as much as it was in second and third game, especially when it comes to the jump-scares.

I had a lot of troubles with the Puzzles in this game and they were rather annoyingly hard for me, which was more enjoyable in the previous titles. However thanks to an in-build Guide by the developers I could get passed those easily. I would off preferred it however if the difficulty would of been a little less, so I could off solved it myself.

If you are an Achievement Hunter then this game might be for you as the steam achievements seem to work, unlike the second title, correctly.

All in all this Game was a blast to play, besides the annoyingly difficult Puzzles that I got stuck on, I did enjoy it a lot just like the other Midnight Mysteries Games.

Due to the fact that the Game is only 4.8 Hours long I recommend getting it on Sale or in a Bundle. However if you are an Achievement Hunter you can pick it up now, as I am sure you will get your hours worth out of it.
This Game is Vampire Approved because of its Gothic Grim Atmosphere, art style and non native English user Friendly Interface.

Midnight Mysteries 3: Devil on the Mississippi - PC Game Review

Hello my fellow Bats,
Today I will be reviewing a Hidden Object Game on the Platform Steam. It is called Mightnight Mysteries 3: Devil on the Mississippi, which is the third Game in the Midnight Mysteries Series.

If you haven't read my Review about the first 2 Games then please Click here to read the first one and here to read the second one.

Midnight Mysteries 3: Devil on the Mississippi is a Casual Hidden Objective Game Developed and Published by MumboJumbo. The Game is about the famous writer Mark Twain, which died 100 years ago. The Game was released on the 29th of March 2012. It comes with English Interface only and its native steam price is 9.99€. The Game does provide Steam Achievements but no Steam Trading Cards.

Although I am myself not very familiar with Mark Twain or his Stories, I did enjoy the Game regardless. The Setting was once again compared to other Hidden Object Games grim, gray and Gothic like but yet still a bit more colourful and vibrant then the first Title in this Series.

The Title released on the exact same date as its second counterpart, but yet still looks better then the second and the first Game. This Game is coming, although not mentioned on Steam itself, with the Collectors Edition, meaning, you will receive a Bonus Chapter, Hunt them Bones Bonus Mode, Wallpapers and just as before Artwork within the game itself.

The new Crafting Mechanic that got first introduced in the second Game has been put to use a lot more and better in this Game, which personally I was very fond of.

Unlike the first Title, this one is more like the second, meaning you will have a few Jump scares coming your way. The Game has a great atmosphere with scary background noises. Headphones are a must for all fans of creepy things.

This Game also provides an in-game build in Guide that can help you with everything in-case you get stuck or a puzzle is to Hard for you. Which personally I liked a lot, I do sometimes myself use these guides if I get stuck or need help with something. It is by far easier having a provided guide by the developers then looking for a solution online.

Unlike the second Game the Achievement were working perfectly fine on this title which means if you are an Achievement Hunter this game will be perfect for you.

The Puzzles in this Game were a lot of fun however I had some problems with a couple of them, which is why I was glad that there was a Guide provided with it.

The Bonus Chapter itself was rather short compared to the main story. The Main Story is around 3 Hours long and the Bonus Chapter will give you another 1 Hour on-top of it. Other Bonus Modes such as Them Bones Bonus Mode and Unlimited Hidden Object Game will probably give you some more time to spent in there. I however was only interested in the Story itself.

If you are interested in completing this game with 100% Achievements and playing all Bonus Content till completion then you might as well get the game for its full price as I imagine you can sink quite the amount of hours into it, or at least 10 Hours.

If you are like me however, which is only interested in the Story itself, I recommend grabbing this Game in a Bundle or on Sale.

This Game is Vampire Approved because of its Gothic Grim Atmosphere, art style and non native English user friendly interface.

Midnight Mysteries: Salem Witch Trials - PC Game Review

Hello my fellow Bats,
Today I will be reviewing a Hidden Object Game on the Platform Steam. It is called Midnight Mysteries: Salem Witch Trials which is the second Game in the Midnight Mysteries Series.

If you haven't read my Review about the first Game then please click here.

Midnight Mysteries: Salem Witch Trials is a Casual Hidden Object Game Developed and Published by MumboJumbo. The Game is about the Witch Trials in Salem, which happened 400 years ago. The Game was released on the 29th of March 2012. The Game's native selling price on Steam is 9,99€. It comes with English Interface only and has Steam Achievements included. However No Steam Trading Cards are available for this Title.

Although I am myself not very familiar with the full Salem Witch Trials, I did enjoy the Game regardless. The Setting was once again compared to other Hidden Object Games grim, gray and Gothic like but yet still a bit more colourful and vibrant then the first Title in this Series.

This Title released compared to its first counterpart 3 years later and with that is a lot better looking. Back when I have completed this Game (27th of November 2016), the steam achievements did not unlock properly which would show some troubles for Steam Achievement Hunters. I don't know if this issue has been fixed yet, if not Achievement Hunters may would lay off it till it does.

The Resolution of the Game is higher then in the last Game which made it a lot easier to find things in the Hidden Object Scenes as it was a lot clearer and sharper and with that easier to see.

The Hidden Object Scenes and Puzzles were once again the right difficulty, not to hard and not to easy to solve.

For the first time within the game series, Bonus Content was included such as, Deleted Scenes, Sketches, Easter Eggs and unlimited hidden Object Mode. It also had for the first time in the Midnight Mystery Series Games a Crafting System in the inventory.

The Story was very interesting, good told and kept me hooked to play for till finish in one session. Although it was Grim and more spooky then the first one, I did enjoy it alot.

I hope for Steam Achievement Hunters that the games issues with the Steam Achievements has been fixed.

All in all this Game is amazing in its mechanics, story and core. Due to the fact that this game is rather fast in its completion, 3 Hours, I recommend getting this Game on Sale or in a Bundle.

This Game is Vampire Approved because of its Gothic Grim Atmosphere, art style and non native English user friendly Interface.

Midnight Mysteries: The Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy - PC Game Review

Hello my fellow Bats,
Today I will be reviewing a Hidden Object Game on the Platform Steam. It is called Midnight Mysteries: The Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy.

Midnight Mysteries: The Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy is a Casual Hidden Object Game Developed and Published by MumboJumbo. The Game is about the mysterious death from Edgar Allan Poe, which died 200 years ago. The Game was released on the 28th of September 2009. It comes with English Interface only. Its native steam price is 9,99€ and it does not provide Steam Trading Cards or Steam Achievements.

Although I am myself are not very familiar with the full Edgar Allan Poe Story, I did enjoy the Game regardless. The setting is grim, gray and rather gothic like.

Most Hidden Object Games are very vibrant and have beautiful Art. Whilst this one is rather grim and dark, but yet still lovely to look at.

What I specifically loved about this game was that in comparison to other Hidden Object Games, on the Hidden Object Scenes you have a Lamp that shows you the outline of what an actual item you are searching for in the List looks like. This is especially helpful if you are a non native English speaker, as some of the object names are in old English or just a word you might not know.

The Resolution of the Game was rather low and if I remember correctly couldn't be changed, which at first took some time to get used to, but once I got used to it, I discovered what a hidden Gem it really is.

The Story is very well written and I enjoyed it quite a lot myself. The Hidden Object Scenes and Puzzles were exactly the right difficulty, not to hard but not to easy either.

Since this is the first Game in the Midnight Mysteries Series and there are a total of 5 Midnight Mystery Games, I do recommend playing them in order as it seems to be rather important. Also due to the fact that the first Game has a rather low resolution it is more pleasing for the eye to start if the lowest resolution and then upgrading over time with the newer Games.

All in all Midnight Mysteries: The Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy is a hidden Gem in the Hidden Object World and I believe must be played by any Fan of those kind of Games. I personally fell in love with not only the Story and the Grim art style but also with its mechanics, that made playing as a non native English speaker a lot more pleasant.

Since I have completed the Game in only 3.5 Hours I would recommend either getting the Game on the next Sale or grabbing it in a Bundle.

This Game is Vampire Approved because of its Gothic Grim Atmosphere, art Style and non native English user friendly UI.
